Bring your team’s Slack feedback and files into LACE — where they become organized, actionable tasks.
This integration helps teams capture discussions, files, and feedback directly from Slack threads into your workspace.
Lace connects directly to your Slack workspace so you can import specific threads, messages, and attached files into your projects. The integration only accesses the conversations you choose to import and never monitors channels or messages in the background.
What You Can Do
Import threads.
Bring a specific Slack thread, including messages and attachments, into your LACE workspace.
Organize feedback.
Turn imported conversations into actionable tasks and structured feedback inside your projects.
Centralize files.
Access and reference files from Slack threads directly in LACE, alongside conversations.
How It Works
1. Connect Slack inside Lace
Open Integrations → Slack in your LACE workspace and select Connect Slack Workspace. Follow the prompts to approve the requested permissions.
2. Choose a Slack thread to import
After connecting, select Import from Slack inside any LACE project or workspace. You can browse your channels to choose a specific thread.
3. Import messages and files
Lace imports only the thread you choose, including the messages and any attached files. No other channels or conversations are accessed.
4. Review and organize your imported content
Imported messages appear inside Lace as actionable feedback mapped top your design assets, that you can track status of as not started, in progress and done.

Data & Security
We take security and privacy seriously. The LACE Slack integration is designed to give you control over what is imported while keeping your workspace data protected.
• OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely.
• Only threads and files you choose for import are accessed.
• All data in your LACE workspace is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Temporary Slack data (channel/user lists) is automatically expired.
• You can disconnect Slack from your LACE account at any time.
For complete details, review our Slack Integration Privacy Policy.
This policy explains how LACE collects, stores, and manages Slack data such as imported messages, files, user information, and OAuth tokens.
